At Africamp, we celebrate cultural diversity. Our Art and Culture Camp provides a gateway to the vibrant traditions of Zanzibar. Explore the world of Kanga textiles, Batik, and street arts. Immerse yourself in the music, dance, and stories of local cultures, gaining a broader perspective on global diversity and understanding.

Tell stories through art

We believe that every work of art has a story to tell.
At our camp center, children explore the art of visual storytelling. Whether painting murals, sculpting or drawing graffiti, they will become modern-day poets, sharing stories through their artistic expression.

Kanga Magic

The art of Kanga weaving comes alive in our camp. You will learn how to make their own Kanga cloth, capturing the rich history and meaning of each design.
They will leave with a personalized Kanga piece, a symbol of their creative journey.

Graffiti Painting

Graffiti is not just street art; it is a powerful form of self-expression. In a controlled and supervised environment, kids can try their hand at graffiti and create urban masterpieces that reflect their unique perspective.

Soap Making

Get ready to make waves with soap! Our soap making workshop teaches children the art of creating natural and fragrant soaps. It’s a combination of chemistry, creativity and sensory pleasure.
