Personal water bottle (There is a recycling issue on the island, and single-use plastics are prohibited, so please bring your own water bottle) Sunscreen, sunglasses, and sturdy water shoes (to protect against sea urchins) Sports shoes (in case you want to go jogging, cycling, etc.) Hand sanitizer, mosquito repellent (we often have mosquito visitors in the evenings) -Your prescribed medications, sunscreen, and creams for burns and rashes (Medications are expensive and hard to find here) -Waterproof backpack for boat trips, windbreaker & raincoat, waterproof phone case -Snorkeling gear and fins if you don’t want to share or rent them We provide bedsheet and towel, if you feel more comfy with your own, you can bring of course Not all, but some evenings might be cool. We suggest you to bring one scarf or sweatshirt just in case.
Every time is to join AfriCamp. However, in Zanzibar best season is between june and october.
Each camp has own talented instructors. It may change depending on the camp, but we assure you that all of them are inspiring, unique and trustworthy instructors.
It depens on the camps actually. Which language camps held info will be written in the details. We have English and Turkish and Swahili Camps.
Yes it is possible to come our camps with your kids but if it is education camp during the day children should not enter course area. The reason is not to distract participant’s focus.
You can join our camps from all around the world! Most welcome.

Notification of cancellation must be made in writing 30 days or more before the start date of the camp to receive a 50% refund. If written notification is received less than 30 days before the start date of the camp there will be no refund. If a camper is a “no show”, no refund is possible as expenses have already been incurred. If a camper has not arrived at Green Camp by midnight on day one, he/she will be considered a “no show”.
UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES:
Cancellation notice will need to be given in writing as soon as possible and will need to include a medical certificate (unless otherwise negated with the Camp Director).
NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN FOR THE FOLLOWING:
– Failure to attend camp for any reason (see “Cancellation Policy”) – Temporary absences – Any withdrawal prior to or within the first two consecutive calendar days of the camp session (except for illness or injury) – Dismissal from camp – Boycotting of camp by the camper – Rebellion, riot or civil commotion – Destruction of any camp facility due to any cause – Closures due to national or natural disasters beyond our control REFUND POLICY – A transferable voucher for an equal or lesser value valid for 1 year from your original camp start dates (depending on availability). The voucher can be transferred to family or friends with at least one month’s notice. We will require a list of the new participants one month prior to the new camp start dates if the voucher is transferred. If we cancel a program then the participant will receive a full refund.
